Prior to booking a test all customers are required to check Fit-To-Fly test requirements with their Country of final destination to ensure sufficient time has been allowed between test booking and results provided. Please check with your tour operator, airline, or via the UK Government website:

You cannot use the Test to Release scheme if you have been in or through any country that is on the travel ban red list in the 10 days before you arrive in England.
You must quarantine on arrival in England. You can take a test no earlier than the 5th day after arrival in England.
If your test result is negative, you can stop quarantine as soon as you receive the result.
If your result is positive, you will need to quarantine for another 10 days. Count the 10 days starting from the day after you took the test, or from when you first had symptoms if that is earlier.
People you live with in the UK, or people you are staying with, should also quarantine for 10 days from the date of your positive test.

How do I book?
If you require a PCR test, you can make a booking via our website testassurancegroup.com. You will need to choose the date and time of your test to ensure it meets your travel requirements, before making payment online.
When can I take an International Arrivals Tests test?
You can take your International Arrivals Tests on your 5th day of self-isolation. When your test returns negative, you can finish your self-isolation period early.
What is the difference between Fit-To-Fly and International Arrivals Tests?
Both of our services are the same, they are the same tests and they provide the same results. When you get your results, you will receive a certificate. This can be used as a certification to fly or as a certification to end your self-isolation period. You CANNOT use the same test to fly out as your International Arrivals Test certificate as the test is only valid if it is taken at least 5 days into your self-isolation period.
How do I receive confirmation?
Once you have completed your booking online we will E-mail confirmation of your appointment along with your ticket.
What do I need to bring with me?
You will need your ticket with a clearly visible QR code and your passport number will be required to receive a valid Fit-To-Fly or International Arrivals Tests certificate.
How do I receive my results?
Once you have completed your test you will receive a Randox Unique Reference Number (URN) that you will need to register at the following link which is also provided on your confirmation email and on our booking page: https://randoxcovid.azurefd.net/urnRegistration. You must not lose your Randox URN as this is required to obtain your Fit-To-Fly or International Arrivals Tests certificate. It cannot be reissued and you will have to book another test.
How does the process work?
Once your appointment has been booked and you have received your confirmation, simply arrive at the TAG testing facility at Liverpool John Lennon Airport with your ticket (which can be found on your booking confirmation e-mail) and passport number, no earlier than 10 minutes prior to your appointment. This will allow you time to park. You will be directed to enter the clinic 5 minutes before your appointment is due to take place.
Following check-in, a trained clinician will carry out your test. Once you have completed your test you will receive a Randox Unique Reference Number (URN) that you will need to register at the following link which is also provided on your confirmation email and on our booking page: https://randoxcovid.azurefd.net/urnRegistration. You must not lose your Randox URN as this is required to obtain your Fit-To-Fly or International Arrivals Tests certificate. It cannot be reissued and you will have to book another test.
The test will be couriered to a laboratory and you will receive your certificate via your email within 48 hours of your appointment. If you have paid for the express service the test will be processed on site and you will receive your certificate within 3 hours of your appointment. The certificate will clearly state your result, and whether you are Fit-To-Fly or Not Fit-To-Fly.
How much is a test?
A standard PCR test is £110.00 per person. An express PCR test is £175.00 per person. We regret that will not be able to refund a booked appointment if it is within 48 hours of your appointment time.
When do I need to book my test?
It is your responsibility to find out using the https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice when you need to have your test in order to be qualified as Fit-To-Fly. You will receive your results within 48 hours of your appointment for a standard test or within 3 hours of your appointment for the express test.
What do I do if my booking does not process correctly?
On the rare occasions when demand on the booking system may be high, or if you have problems with your internet connection, it is possible that you may encounter a problem when processing your payment. If this happens, do not attempt to rebook your appointment even if prompted to ‘try again’, as you may be charged again. Instead, email testing@testassurancegroup.com, and we will check your booking and if necessary complete it for you. This will avoid you having to be charged a 5% cancellation fee of the ticket value, to recover our cost of a booking error.
What do I do if I make a booking but need to change the appointment date and time?
Please email testing@testassurancegroup.com and we will rebook the appointment for you, which will avoid you having to pay a cancellation fee. We cannot rebook appointments less than 48 hours prior to the appointment. This will be confirmed by email.
What happens if I need to cancel my COVID-19 appointment due to a change, or because of my personal circumstances, or because my flight has been cancelled?
If you need to cancel your appointment due to any circumstances there will be a 5% cancellation fee of the ticket value. This fee will be taken out of the refund amount. You will not be able to obtain a refund within 48hrs of your booked appointment date and time.
Can I book multiple appointments at once?
Yes. Appointments must be booked under separate names, but you can book multiple appointments at different dates & times in one transaction.
When visiting the test centre what can I expect?
When you arrive at the airport you must follow instructions for covid-19 testing. There will be two lanes for testing, you need to take the left-lane marked ‘Fit-To-Fly’. When at the test site, you will be allocated a bay for your test. Once the test is completed you will leave via a back exit into the car park.
What tests are available?
We provide PCR Fit-To-Fly or International Arrivals Tests certificates. Many countries and airlines require individuals to provide a travel certificate which shows evidence of a negative COVID-19 PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test prior to travel. We have a standard test which delivers results within 48 hours and an express service which delivers results within 3 hours.
What test do I require?
This depends on where you are travelling to. You will be required to speak with your airline, tour operator or review the Government guidance for your destination in the first instance.
When should I book?
Testing capacity is limited; therefore, we recommend you book your test as early as possible to ensure the appointment date and time you require is available.
When should I get tested?
A test is usually required 48-72 hours before arrival at your destination, however, this can vary. Therefore, we strongly advise you to check with your airline, tour operator or on the Government website for the latest advice for your destination as this is your responsibility.
Do children require testing?
This depends on where you are travelling to. We recommend that you speak with your airline, tour operator or refer to the latest Government guidance for your destination to determine the specific requirements. Under 18s MUST be accompanied by an adult when they come for a test.
Do I receive a certificate?
Yes, you will receive a certificate via email within 48 hours of your standard test & within 3 hours of your express test provided you have registered your URN number on to the Randox portal.
Where can I get tested?
We are located at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, L24 1YD. Follow the signs marked ‘COVID-19 Testing’ and take the left lane signposted ‘TAG Fit-to-Fly Testing’.
Who carries out the testing?
All PCR tests are carried out by a trained clinician.
What if my test is positive?
If your test result is positive, you must self-isolate in accordance with Government guidelines. Unfortunately, you will not be permitted to travel therefore you should contact your airline or tour operator to discuss your options.
When can I get a test?
The site is open from 8am-6pm Monday to Sunday. We will have reduced hours on Christmas Eve (8am-12pm), Boxing Day (10am-2pm) & New Years Eve (8am-12pm). We will be closed on Christmas Day & New Years Day.
Are there any alternative test centres?
No, currently we operate solely from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
Can I pay on-site?
You must pay online using the booking system. Payments will not be taken on-site and only appointments made using our booking system will be acknowledged. Please do not come to the testing site without a prior paid appointment.
Will I have to pay for parking?
There are no parking fees for visitors to the TAG testing facility
Is there disabled access?
We have disabled spaces in our car park as well as wheelchair access to the unit. We have clinical staff on site who are all fully trained in disability handling.
Can I accompany my family member / friend through their test?
While maintaining social distancing rules, anyone can bring one person to accompany them in the bay for their test. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
